For $60, you get a $60 room. The bed was more comfortable than I expected, and I never felt unsafe. The people at the front desk were nice, even though I think I woke them up when I checked in at 10:30 at night.

It was a cheap, bug-free place for a quick overnight stop, and the bed and pillow were comfortable. Still, the hotel is old and a little dirty, with dated, rusty, or broken amenities. The sheets were stained, and plenty of the DIY repairs looked like they’d seen better days. Craig G put it well: “If you’re a Karen, don’t stay here. If you can look past the imperfections, you’ll be okay.”

The location is ideal, the price is fair, and the front desk clerk was friendly. My bed was clean and comfortable. Some things aren’t perfect, as other reviews have mentioned, but if you can live with a few flaws and want a clean bed for the price, you’ll be satisfied. If you’re a Karen, this probably isn’t the place for you. I’d stay again.

We left and drove an extra hour, and I’m glad we did. Our daughters were scared by the room and the area, and with three girls and me eight months pregnant, we weren’t willing to take a chance on our family’s health or safety. I wish I’d taken photos, but we got out so fast that it felt like someone was watching us. The place was covered in trash, with beer boxes and bottles everywhere. Inside, the floor was stained and dirty, the room smelled of cigarettes, dust was everywhere, and the mini fridge was stained too. The beds had stains and other people’s hair in the blankets, and looked as though someone had slept in them before they’d simply been made up. The bathroom floor looked like it hadn’t been swept or mopped, and there was dirt or something on the toilet seat, so I didn’t sit down. At 11pm, a man a couple of doors away was blasting music, dancing in and out of his room, smoking, and making noise. We didn’t feel safe. The Google pictures were a lie. I’m not picky, but this was the most disgusting, trashed place, and I ran from it. I rang the doorbell about six times before the manager came out. I asked for a refund on our reservation because the place was disgusting and we felt unsafe. He said no refunds, took the key, and shut the door in my face.
