Super 8 by Wyndham Higginsville

The breakfast was great, and the beds were comfortable. The place was nicely decorated too. This was the best Super Inn I’ve stayed at, much better than the Quality Inn from the night before. I’d definitely recommend it for a stop.

We stopped early on this trip because we liked this hotel so much when we stayed here before. It’s been remodeled recently, and the rooms are comfortable, with good beds and pillows, hot showers, and a tub for relaxing. Breakfast is great. There’s a pool table and slot machines for downtime, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There’s also a great winery down the road.

I was here for two months for work, and it was a very nice place to stay. The housekeeping was on point, the rooms were very nice, and the Folgers coffee machine was handy. The owners and employees were excellent. If you’re traveling through and need a good place to stay, I’d suggest this one.

The smell hit me as soon as I walked in. I asked about it, and was told it might be food and that it smelled good. It smelled nasty to me, and the scented candle on the counter didn’t cover it up. The front desk clerk was friendly enough, the rooms are nice, and the location isn’t bad, but that odor was a real problem. The vending and other machines only take cash, and there’s no ATM on site. It’s 2025, people don’t carry cash around. My company uses CLC, and I can choose where I stay. I picked this brand even though the hotel across the highway takes CLC too. This property rewards dollars spent, not brand loyalty, which is disappointing.
