We came back to the hotel and found several cockroaches crawling around in the bed. Disgusting. They moved us to another room, but I’m not sure I can sleep now. The front desk didn’t apologize or show any empathy or customer service. I can’t imagine what would have happened if I’d fallen asleep and they crawled on me. It was late, or I would’ve checked out right away. The phone in our room didn’t work either. I don’t know who manages this place, but I’ll tell as many people as I can about what happened.

At check-in, the front desk explained the price and pending deposit. I asked about staying another day and was told they were fully booked. Then on Saturday morning before checkout, I asked whether there had been a cancellation so we could stay through the 26th. They said yes and that we’d only be charged for the extra day. We checked out before 11:00am on Sunday the 26th, and my email receipt shows we stayed from the 24th to the 26th. The bank charge included the invoice amount and deposit, plus another $269. I called at 8:15am to ask about it and was told the manager would call back, but nobody did. When I called again at 3:15, they said he’d stepped away, had my details, and would return the call. He didn’t. I called again on 10.29.25 around 8:30am; the young woman said he’d be in at 11:00am. At 11:22am, I was told he wouldn’t be in. I said I’d contact corporate and the BBB and write a review, because this was extremely unprofessional. People staying here should watch their account charges. The manager also brushed off my concern about bugs in the room we reserved, saying they were stink bugs and there was nothing he could do. I usually stay here whenever I travel, but I won’t anymore. We’ll see how long it takes to get my deposit back and have the $269.00 refunded.

Our room was spacious, clean, and excellent. The hotel was quiet too, with no noticeable traffic or noise from other guests. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I’d definitely stay here again.

The room was dated and in bad shape, and after checking in very late following our trip to woods of terror, I wished we’d had time to go back to the office, get our money back, and stay elsewhere. The bathroom tiles were broken and there was mold in the shower. It always felt stuffy, and the room never really cooled down. The pillows were so bad we bought our own at Marshall’s the next morning. A window used to look from the bedroom into the bathroom, but they’d drywalled it over. There was no waterproofing, so I assume that’s where the mold came from. We stayed two nights, and I couldn’t wait to leave. We won’t return, and I don’t recommend it.
