Bear Springs Hotel

For $399 a night, this hotel really wasn’t worth it. The staff were rude, the Wi-Fi was awful, the hot tub had way too much chlorine, and the tablet in our room didn’t work. The blow dryer was filthy too.

When I called to use a free room from my casino membership, I asked the representative to add a second room before we ended the call. They explained that it wouldn’t be free and that I’d need to provide a card for the reservation. I agreed and was put on hold while they checked availability. They came back, took my card details and partial payment, then said it had all gone through and confirmed both rooms and the date. But when we arrived to check in, there was no second room reserved. I don’t know what happened. I’m frustrated and disappointed that they took my card information and confirmed everything on the call, yet the room wasn’t booked.

We booked this cute little hotel for a casino show and didn’t know there was a shuttle to the casino, so that was a nice surprise. The shower pressure was perfect, unlike the weak pressure you get in a lot of hotels. The bed was the downside, it creaked whenever I moved my leg.

We paid $345 for one night on 10/18/25 and regretted it as soon as we got to the room. The hotel is quite new, but it seems poorly managed. The Guest WiFi was very slow and had a weak signal. The front desk said that was just how it was. Then I found the Shampoo/bath gel bottle completely empty, and just before bed there was a cricket on the wall beside the bed.
