South Zion Inn & Suites

The outside didn't look like much, but we stayed at three motels on our road trip and Zion Inn and Suites was the best one. Inside, it was really good: new furniture, big-screen TVs in both rooms, a kitchen, and a private patio with a view of the prettiest mountains. They left us free goodies and a book with low-cost things to do. We were sad we couldn't stay longer because we had to head to Vaygiss. The bathroom felt modern, with a really tall shower and a fun LCD mirror. I wasn't a fan of the barn door because it kept sliding open while I was in there, which was embarrassing. Mama said she's never seen anything like it before. I didn't want to wash off the animal smell I had on me. For breakfast I had my strawberry Pop-Tarts with white frosting and sprinkles, and ate the whole box by myself. Mama left a Reese's peanut butter cup from Zion Inn, so I hid it down the back of my pants to keep her from eating it before me. I'd stay at Zion Inn and Suites again and recommend it.

The attendant made check-in and our two-night visit easy with friendly, clear communication, and it felt like the staff cared about how guests were doing. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with value that exceeded what we expected for the price. The hotel keeps a welcoming environment, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing, convenient stay near Zion National Park. I'd absolutely recommend South Zion Inn & Suites as a place to rest after exploring the nearby trails and scenery.

The view was stunning, and I had a peaceful private seating area outside. I also appreciated all the places to set luggage and travel things, including hooks, shelves, and benches. It left me room at the table to work on my atlas and trip journal. The proprietor was welcoming and informative. My room was very clean and classy, with fluffy pillows, a sleek bathroom, a fridge, microwave, Keurig, large takeaway cups with lids, and a couple of snacks. I could tell the main highway was nearby, but after 10 pm there were very few cars, and road noise didn't disturb me the way others have described.

We loved our stay even though the place is a bit out of the way, and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and updated, with a spacious, nice bathroom and plenty of light. The beds and sheets were so comfortable we checked their labels so we could buy the same ones. The town itself doesn't have much, but if you want a nice place to stay, you won't be disappointed.
