The night sky here was incredible, and Starlink WiFi worked well. The tents were comfortable and insulated, with restrooms a short walk away. It was one of my favorite glamping stays near Zion, especially for a night. The shared spaces could use more cleaning. The kitchen has a fridge and microwave that came in handy for leftovers, though I wouldn’t cook there. Since it’s open to the air, it gets dusty, and kittens wander through, so wash things before using them.

We had a fun little getaway and were treated well. The area is beautiful, the tents are nice, and the service was friendly. Our host was attentive, and the fire pit outside our tent made it easy to cook dinner. Coffee and pancakes were free in the morning, which was a nice touch. A bundle of firewood costs $8, though one was already at our site. The guy said the previous guests had left it, but I wasn’t sure that was really the case. Either way, he let us use it, which was kind. The tent floor was a bit dirty, though it didn’t bother me since we’d track in dirt ourselves. Some parts of the roof were taped; he assured me it was watertight, but it didn’t rain, so I couldn’t check. He also had to fix some wiring because the tent hadn’t been used in a while. The heater worked great, keeping it around the 70s inside even though it was in the 30s outside overnight. One night felt a little expensive, but it was a holiday weekend, when prices tend to be higher, and it was my first time staying somewhere like this, so I had nothing to compare it with. I’d stay again.

The location was lovely, but the state of the facilities left us really disappointed. The bathroom looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned, with dirty socks on the floor and no fresh towels. Then we found that the bedding hadn’t been cleaned either. There were boogers on a pillowcase, which was disgusting. We texted the host about the bed after speaking with him in person, but got no reply. It’s a cool spot, but be prepared for what you may find. We were honestly pretty grossed out.

I loved the setting, and I saw Dino prints and went on hikes. They kept in touch with me, even texting an hour before to make sure I’d arrive on time. There’s Starlink, plus a dependable fridge and freezer. It gets cold, so bring extra blankets or warm clothes. Get up early if you can, the stars are beautiful and the sunrise follows. Just know the bathrooms aren’t near the tent. Sharing them is normal for glamping, but the pictures make it look like a bathroom might be attached. Expect a long walk to shared facilities. There are cute cats around, but they get on the tables and into the kitchen area, so clean things before eating there.

Eric and Gabriel helped us get settled and showed us around. We spent one night in a suite tent and the next in the rock cavern, and both were cozy, very clean, and had everything we needed. We had the best time at Zion Glamping adventures. I’d book the horseback riding too. If I return to Zion, I’d definitely stay here again.
