Sunrise Ocean Suites

It’s a reasonable price for what you get, and we’d definitely stay again if we travel that far south. The building dates back to the 50s, but the rooms have been nicely updated. Nothing fancy, just more than adequate. Room 116 had a full kitchen, cable TV, and a nicely sized shower. It was very clean, as was the pool. The beach is literally a few yards away, and there are plenty of sights and things to do within an hour’s drive.

The management were helpful and accommodating when our flight got canceled. We called, and they let us stay another night in the same room since it was available, which saved us another hassle. We loved the clean, quiet, convenient place, and the beach was wonderful, with super clear water and a pretty blue color. Grocery stores, Walmart, shops, restaurants, and the pier were a mile or two away. At first we were a little leery because the outside looked dated, but reviews had said not to let that fool us, and they were right. Being so close to the ocean must make rust and peeling paint hard to keep on top of. We can’t wait to book another trip and bring more family. We love room 102 and hope to make it our vacation spot. ❤️

Ella and her staff are wonderful, the kind of people who feel like family you’re happy to visit. The whole place is meticulously maintained, and you couldn’t ask for a better location. The private beach is just steps away, with the pool in the middle of the courtyard. It’s fun playing shuffleboard with the neighbors too. Thanks for all you do, Ella! We love coming here.

Rooms 209 and 207 were connected condos, giving us two beds and two bathrooms. They were updated nicely and comfortable, and I’d stay here again. The exterior has a cute retro look, though it could use some TLC for the rust and peeling paint. It was built in ’57 and sits right on the ocean, so that’s to be expected. Perfect spot for a quiet little vacation.
