The villa itself was good, and we could walk to the beach. But the pool situation was a letdown: the only one we were told we could use was in Harbor Town, a 30-minute bike ride away with our 11-year-old. It was also only bike distance to the beach club. We love Sea Pines, but this is my least favorite location there so far. Everywhere else we’ve stayed in Sea Pines had a pool right next door, so the change caught us off guard and left us unhappy.
