Hampton Place 6407

Our condo had two balconies facing the ocean. I only wish there had been some condiments, paper products, and foil in the unit. The pool area also has a covered pavilion with tables and chairs, plus an adult-only swim area and a large family pool. From the raised deck, you can look out at the beach and sit on the swings. The beach is a short walk through the pool area.

We've rented at Hampton Place at Palmetto Dunes for several years and have had a wonderful time every visit. The units have been clean and well equipped, and getting to the beach is incredibly convenient. We always leave feeling relaxed.

We rent different condos at HP four times a year and have enjoyed some lovely ones, but Unit 6401 isn't one of them. We won't rent it again until the furnishings are refreshed. The view and amenities at Hampton Place are wonderful, but this unit needs work. The floor in the main area buckles in two places, something we only learned about after checking in. “Mike” called to tell us, but was rude and said the condo had been inspected and he hadn't been informed. We didn't believe that. The bedspreads were old and dirty, and didn't look like they'd been washed in a while. The fitted sheets came off whenever we turned over, and although there were pillows in the closet, there were no pillowcases. We bought pillowcases and blankets so we could take off the dirty spreads.

The complex still has a great view and is very nice, but this unit needs cleaning and updating. We had to vacuum it ourselves, and the floors looked as if they hadn't been properly mopped along the baseboards for a month or two. The wallpaper is worn, and the sink fixtures look straight out of the 1980s. This is our third year staying in the complex. We liked this unit when we stayed here the first year, so this visit was disappointing. I may not come back next year. If I do, I'd choose a different unit, even though I love the view from this one.
