We booked #610 through VRBO for a week, and it was the best place we’ve stayed on the island. It’s a 2/2 that sleeps 6+, though it was just me, my partner, and our dog. The big master has an updated rain shower, and there’s plenty of storage for beach gear. We loved the huge deck and the bigger TV for winding down at night. The kitchen felt modern and had all the gadgets we use at home, plus a great new Weber grill. Having a full-size washer and dryer meant no laundry waiting for us when we got home. Can’t wait to return.

The villas are laid out nicely for families or entertaining, and there are plenty of local amenities to enjoy around this beautiful area. I’d come back if I’m in the area again.

I only know the villa from visiting friends who rented it, but it felt roomy and had a practical kitchen, a good-sized living room, and a proper dining table. It would be better if it were closer to the beach. Even so, I’d seriously consider renting it for a family getaway.

The house was clean and comfortable. The sidewalks and the whole area were amazing and well cared for. I bet it looks beautiful when everything blooms in spring and summer.

This is our last stay at Palmetto dunes, and maybe even Hilton head, after coming here for years. The parking situation in queens grant is unbelievable. My 64 year old mother spent thousands to rent a unit, yet when we got back from dinner there wasn’t a single spot for it. Rude staff told her parking was “first come, first serve” and suggested the general store, saying they might not tow her. She parked there and walked 0.75 miles back to the unit at 11pm. At 715 am someone pounded on her door and told her to move the car or it would be towed because the general store is private property. She walked back and moved it into a spot that had opened in the complex. They claim each unit has “two” spaces, but there wasn’t even ONE available. The properties seem overbooked, and this is unacceptable. The shuttle stops running at 9pm, too, so how is that supposed to work? It feels like guests are expected to serve Palmetto dunes while it looks after itself. I could go on about rude staff, overcrowding, mosquitos, and TOO MANY RULES, but if you can’t park your vehicle, what else matters? We’re now afraid to leave our parking spots. Unbelievable.
