The room felt like a proper old-school suite with modern updates, and it was one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at in years. The staff were the kindest, too. Breakfast was very good, with quite a few hot options.

My husband and I visit New Mexico often, and staying here turned out to be a great decision. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even though we arrived around 8pm. We’ll definitely book here on our next trip!

The room itself was good, with a hot shower, included Wi-Fi, and a good breakfast. But at check-in the employee charged me again even though I’d booked and paid online almost a week earlier. She asked if I had checked in online, then seemed confused when I said yes. She said she couldn’t see a payment and told me I still had to pay. I thought at first the charge might be for a damage deposit, but it was odd since I’d already provided a card. When I questioned it and explained I’d paid, she was very sure I hadn’t and said I still owed $189. That was completely wrong, and I showed her both my posted bank charge and confirmation email with the number. She dismissed them and told me to speak to the manager in the morning, but the manager had already left. I was rushing to an early event the next day and couldn’t talk to them before leaving. Once I got home, I called the hotel and explained what happened. The man who answered refunded the extra charge right away and apologized, confirming I had been charged twice. I’m glad he sorted it out, but the check-in left a bad first impression of Hilton. I don’t know whether the employee lacked training, was careless, or simply didn’t pay attention. The strange part is that nobody else in my group was charged twice. All four of us had paid ahead on the Hilton website and checked in together, but I was the only one with this problem.

The employees take great care of you, the rooms are super comfortable, and breakfast is delicious. Thank you!
