Sleep Inn & Suites Hobbs

The room was clean and ready when we arrived, and it's spacious. Breakfast is included with plenty of choices, and the lobby, dining area, and hallways have all stayed clean. What really stands out, though, is the front desk team. They've been welcoming since check-in, very kind, and ready to answer questions or help with whatever we need. My husband, our baby, and I are here for a couple of weeks, and the stay isn't over yet, but I wanted to share this now. We're staying almost an hour from his job because we liked it so much. We had planned to move closer after a few days once a room opened up, but this has been a wonderful experience. If we're passing through again, this will be our first choice.

The pool and hot tub were nice, and the location and price were good too. My room was clean and quiet, and every employee I met was pleasant each time. Great work by the whole team.

The staff were extremely friendly, which was a plus, but I won't come back. The hotel is dark, and the carpets seem to make the whole building smell. At the entrance there was a wet, nasty carpet odor; I hoped it was only the lobby, but the room smelled terrible too. I bought candles and air freshener, but they barely helped. The AC smelled like urine when it came on. I didn't take it to the desk because this couldn't have been fixed overnight, so I stayed and left early in the morning. They should replace the carpet, update the AC units, repaint, and reattach the TV in room 305, which was hanging.

I needed a room around 1 a.m., and check-in was quick and easy. The front desk was able to help, and the price was only a fraction of what nearby hotels would have charged. The lobby and the room were clean, and the room was comfortable. The vending and ice machines on my floor weren't working, but there's a lobby corner market with lots of options. I'll stay here again.
