Please listen to the reviews and don’t stay here. I spent a month in room 110 while looking for a house, paying over $1,500 plus $375 a week, and I wouldn’t come back. The owners’ children were nice and respectful, and the housekeepers were cool, but the parents were rude, especially the mother, who knocked on my door at all hours of the night. I had to clean my own room, and the place was filthy. Roaches and droppings were all over the walls and dressers, under the bed, and even crawling on me while I slept. They came out of the bathroom ceiling, the water didn’t drain properly, and I couldn’t leave food out without attracting them. The rooms smelled like cigarettes, too. I could have gone one exit over to the Motel 6 off exit 18 for better rooms without roaches. I reported the place to the health department and the BBB.

The staff were great, and I think they would have tried to clean or move us if I’d raised the issue. Still, the room needed a deep clean, which wasn’t going to happen during our short visit. I dropped something behind the couch and what I saw there was pretty scary. We were in town for a funeral, so the location worked well. It was somewhere to stay, and for me and my family, it was just fine.

We had a great experience with MR Bob Petel. He was welcoming, gave excellent service, and even let my broken-down truck stay there until the tow arrived the next day. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were super clean, and it felt safe and family-friendly. For a small price, this is an awesome place for working people. You can walk to Wendy's, McDonald's, inglés supermarket, waffle house, and love's truck station. MR Bob Petel and his wife were so nice, 10/10.

The staff treated us well, but the room we got wasn’t what I’d booked. I reserved a non-smoking double queen and got a non-smoking single king instead. I’ll assume the booking site was at fault. The room still smelled like an ashtray, and changing rooms didn’t help. I used to smoke and am 420 friendly, so it didn’t bother me much, but my friend has asthma. We also found roaches in the bathroom and looking for our dinner leftovers. We were tired, and a refund wasn’t available, so we stayed. The police circling the small lot on the hill and the location across from a truck stop didn’t make the area feel great. I’ve seen worse, but I wouldn’t have stayed with my child. The rooms smelled like cigarettes, too.
