Hogan House at Rose Hill B&B

Hogansville is a great little town, and getting to see the Hummingbird festival was a treat. Hogan House itself felt peaceful, with so many antiques that I was blown away. Shanna was a wonderful hostess, and I felt at home with family. The breakfast was amazing, too.

We only stayed one night, but we’re already planning to come back. My daughter works at the Hogansville Zoo, and we came for the annual charity Gala, just a five-minute walk away. The house is beautiful inside and out, quiet and relaxing, and I felt at home as soon as we walked in. I wish we’d had longer to enjoy all the scenery and decor. My favorite was the old telephone by the dining room door, while my husband keeps talking about the giant globe. That colorful glass chandelier in the parlor is amazing, too. We really enjoyed staying with MS. SHANNON. My only regret is forgetting to sign MS. SHANNON'S guest book, and I’m sorry I forgot to sign out in the guess book. We’ll see you again!

The retreat gave us a chance to pause life for a while, and it felt restorative and life-giving. I attended a small retreat for widows at Intermission Hogan House, where we shared delicious meals and fellowship. From the greeting when we parked to the personalized gift basket and robe waiting for me, the care was clear. I felt loved, and the other women did too. Shanna and her family made the experience one I’ll never forget. Calling it five-star almost undersells it. Shanna was an excellent host.

The rooms felt cozy and welcoming, with thoughtful details that made it easy to settle in. The house was beautifully decorated, spotless, and full of character. We were greeted warmly when we arrived, and our host brought homemade treats during the stay. I had a delightful time at the Intermission Hogan House Bed and Breakfast. The peaceful setting and kind hospitality made it a perfect getaway. We loved it and will definitely return. -Dylan and Garrett!
