The front desk woman was kind, but that was the only good part of dealing with this place. While I was sitting beneath the check-in awning, an older man came out speaking loudly. In very broken English, he kept calling me a liar and saying we had sneaked a dog in during our last stay. He even told someone to check our car. There was no dog, just our infant. Anyone who knows us knows we have only huge dogs and would never break a pet policy. I asked for the manager, which was a mistake: he was even ruder and wouldn't let me get a word in. Calling the place unprofessional and rude barely covers it. It takes a lot for me to write a review, but this was bad enough. If you're considering staying here, save yourself the trouble and go to Linden.

This was an overpriced, unclean motel stay. The sheets, bedding, and towels were stained and dirty when we arrived, and asking for fresh towels only got us more dirty linens. We asked Booking.com for a refund, but this Embassy refused to return any money. When you arrive, the poor front desk lady is sleeping on a cot set up in the middle of the lobby.

The room was clean, and some of it had been remodeled, which was nice. Still, they put the clean washcloths on top of the toilet, which was gross. Google lists free breakfast, but there isn't any. The stay was okay.

We stayed about 8 days, and for the price it wasn't bad. It's quiet, the staff are helpful, and the rooms are okay. Takeout food is close by. The towels could use an update, but otherwise it's a nice place for a longer stay.

After losing my room key, I was refused a replacement. The next morning I went to the store, and when I got back they wouldn't let me in. I sat in the parking lot for an hour until checkout time, when the housekeeper let me in. Then they rushed me, telling me to grab my things and leave. They were rude and disrespectful. This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had, and I wouldn't recommend staying there. I'd rather make the drive to columbia or waynesboro and stay somewhere that treats you decently.
