Inn On Golden Pond

This grand old house has a few quirks, but from the moment you walk in, it feels warm and welcoming. The Inn on Golden Pond was a hit with all of our family members who stayed over the weekend. Erica and Mike were readily available and glad to help, and the rooms were fresh, clean, and beautifully appointed. Breakfasts were both tasty and filling, just right before heading out for the day. I absolutely recommend the inn to anyone visiting the area. Go meet Erica and Mike and enjoy your stay!

Getting married at the inn was the best stay we've had anywhere. Erica and Mike took care of absolutely everything, and we had such a good time. The place is gorgeous, and the remodel keeps its past feeling authentic while making it comfortable like a home away from home. The rooms were the cleanest I've seen. You can smell how fresh they are as soon as you walk in. I can't recommend the inn enough, and we'll definitely be back!

Erica was so personable and helped make our stay really pleasant. She suggested Walter's Basin for dinner, and it turned out to be one of the best meals we've ever had. The Inn on Golden Pond is quaint and cozy. Our room had a bedroom, bath, and living area, and was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We loved staying here and definitely recommend treating yourself to a visit.

We stayed in the pet-friendly "Moose Mountain" room on the first floor, with its own entrance. The Inn is conveniently placed for getting to the lakes and towns, and the room was comfortable with thoughtful details. Everything feels fresh and has been decorated beautifully and meticulously, mostly in a rustic style. Erica & Mike were friendly and attentive hosts, and the cooked-to-order breakfast was delicious. We had dinner locally at the Common Man / Ashland and liked what we ordered. If you're bringing a dog, just know that chickens and ducks roam the grounds, though they weren't a problem for our pooch.
