The couple who own this motel were so nice and friendly, and the rooms have been beautifully updated. We loved the free breakfast, and the chef was very friendly too. The owner suggested Squam Lakes Nature Center, and we ended up spending the whole day there. I'd definitely come back.

The beds were so comfortable that sleeping came easily, and breakfast was served fresh for each guest from a fabulous menu. Everything felt cozy, and I loved the decorating. The lakes nearby offer lots of outdoor activities. I've stayed in many New Hampshire motels over the years, so this place brought back a nostalgic feeling. I only stayed here for the first time this past July, but it's already my favorite. It's hard to explain how wonderful and inviting it is. The owners have a vision for the place, and I'll need to return to see how it develops. Even as it is now, you couldn't ask for a better stay for everything it offers.

The included breakfast was delicious and made to order, and the pool, though dated, was clean and welcoming. The rooms are clean, thoughtfully decorated, and laid out. The owner and employees were friendly, welcoming, trusting, and laid back. It's also an easy commute to Gilford for concerts at NH Pavilion. The word motel can carry a bad reputation, but this one goes against all those stereotypes. I highly recommend staying here.

The staff treat you like family and really care about your comfort. The rooms are very comfortable, and breakfast is complimentary Thursday through Sunday. The food is fabulous.

Clean, cozy, renovated rooms, wonderful service, and an amazing breakfast cooked by a great chef. Highly recommend it. I'd stay again if I'm in the area.
