Hampton Inn Salt Lake City Cottonwood UT

We were here for six days while my husband had Dental Implants, and the suite by the stairs worked out well. It was quiet, and we enjoyed the gym, hot tub, and wonderful breakfast. The ladies working breakfast each morning were lovely. Brian, the evening clerk, was especially helpful and recommended lots of things. We’d bought popsicles for my husband’s surgery, and he let us store them in the freezer. He was so accommodating and thoughtful about the surgery. We really liked him.

The location is convenient for several highways and main roads, but set back enough that it stays very quiet. The hotel feels bright and fresh, from the spotless rooms and wide halls to the cheerful lobby. The staff were wonderful throughout. Amanda and Brian at reception were upbeat and helpful, and the breakfast staff were friendly and kept everything tidy and in order. My one wish is for a cozier place to relax. The lobby sitting area also serves breakfast, with booths and tables but no real lounge spot. For the price and the overall experience, it’s still a solid choice.

We had a great room and great service, and depending on which room you get, you may have a sweet view like we did. We arrived for breakfast 15 minutes late, but the manager was super accommodating and kindly let us make a waffle anyway.

This worked perfectly for a ski trip: close to the canyon, with the bus right there, plus breakfast and a pool and hot tub for afterward. Moana was exceptional and helped us get checked in after a day on the mountain.
