We usually stay downtown when we come to town, but this year we tried this newer hotel and will be back. It was modern, very clean and quiet, with wonderful staff and a very good breakfast. After driving around all day, we slept well. The studio had a full kitchen, built-in storage closets and shelves, plus a private bathroom where the toilet and shower are separate from the sink. The pull-out sofa was bigger than the king bed, so three little ones could sleep there while the parents used the bed. We parked downtown for free and did our usual activities, including the Lantern Festival at John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids. We could still enjoy Holland Tulip Festival for half the price of staying downtown, and even parking downtown was free. The hotel was half the downtown price. We were there just a few days before the festival starts on May 1st, and it's a wonderful place for that price.

The service was the highlight for us. Everyone was so friendly and sincere, the kind of care you hope for when you've spent a lot. My husband arranged this hotel as a surprise girls trip for my friends and me, and it was perfect. The whole place was clean and lovely, with modern, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was included and turned out to be a nice surprise: chorizo and eggs one morning, sausage and eggs the next, plus overnight oats, pastries, cereal, and lots of choices. We'll definitely return with the whole family and enjoy more of Holland.

We came for our annual weekend away for my husband's birthday, and were really impressed. The room was beautiful and roomy, the employees were super nice and helpful, and there's a nice bar and a little store. Breakfast was okay. The hotel is outside Holland in a quiet area, but still near a lot of things. They also had a couple of fire pits going at night. We'd definitely come back.

For the quality of the stay, the room was an absolute bargain. This was easily the nicest hotel I've stayed at outside a big resort or an all-inclusive. Breakfast completely blew me away: chia cups, fricken pork carnits, and fantastic potatoes. I really hope my daughter has another dance comp at Allegan HS soon, because I can't wait to come back.

The kitchen island worked really well as a spot to get work done, and I appreciated having a big fridge for my things. The portable desks were handy too, since I could move my work laptop over to the couch and work more comfortably. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I really enjoyed staying here.
