Pilot Motel

I don't care about WiFi or the TV. AC is what matters most to me at a motel, and I felt ripped off. The room was really hot when I got in. The manager checked the AC and said it should be working now, though it would take a bit, and offered a fan, which I accepted. I napped, but woke up sweating three hours later. I called the owner about the AC and asked to move rooms. He said I'd already been switched and there was nothing he could do, but I had never been moved. I was still in the same room I checked into.

They claim there's free WiFi, but none exists. Cleanliness is limited, and the person in charge seems to make up the price based on their attitude. We paid $80 a night, and it wasn't worth that or the kind of rate I'd expect at Best Western. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The owners are nice, and it's clean enough. This is the best price I've found on US1. They don't use a dryer for the bedding and towels, though, so I wonder how long it'll be before they get bedbugs.

My husband and I were injured in an accident on the way to the hotel and couldn't stay. They had already charged my card, and still wouldn't refund me. We had no vehicle at the time. I'll never stay here or at any place associated with them.
