We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re in the area. The staff were wonderful, and there’s a lovely courtyard plus complimentary bag storage if you need it. The building is older, but our clean, efficient room had a queen bed, kitchenette, bathroom with shower, and table and chairs. Prices were reasonable, and it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the beach and the boardwalk’s restaurants and shops.

The location and setup were good, but I ended up in the emergency room overnight with bedbug bites, then had to go again in the morning right before my cruise. That was awful. Worse, I had two more reservations later that month and had to fight to get a refund when I tried to cancel. They refunded those future stays, but not the day I’d already spent there. If bedbug bites don’t affect you, you might be fine, but for me it wasn’t worth the emergency trip or the hassle of trying to get my money back.

My wife and I spent four days here for a getaway, and we’ll be back. The staff were friendly, and the office lady was especially nice. Our room had a kitchen with a full fridge and freezer, and I made a few friends at the hotel. You can reach the beach in under a minute, and there’s always something happening along the boardwalk. I recommend staying here.

We were there for less than ten minutes. The front desk woman wouldn’t finish checking us in and told us to come back in the morning. We checked the bed and found a bedbug, and the room was dirty. The couch looked so gross I worried you could get a disease from touching it. We went back to check-in, but the door was locked and the worker was gone. I called the number on the door and explained what happened. Housekeeping said they’d had bedbugs before. They told me to seek a refund through Expedia, where I’d booked, but when Expedia tried to reach them, they blocked its number to avoid issuing one. I would never stay here.
