Richard's Hotel

I like the layout at Green Seas Hotel next door better, where I’m staying now, but last time I was here I stayed at this Richards Hotel. There are several different “Richards” properties along the S Federal Highway strip. I gave this one five stars for being a quiet, clean, fully functional budget room, not because it’s fancy. They do the budget basics very well. There are cameras everywhere, and staff are attentive and keep an eye on the place. If you want a clean, quiet, functional room for less than $100 a night, this is what you’re looking for. If you expect daily bed-making and a mint on your pillow, go elsewhere.

Less than a mile from historic downtown Hollywood, so it was easy to reach restaurants and other amenities. Richard's Hotel is a comfortable, no-frills place for a couple nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

My wife Erica and I have stayed at almost every one of Richards motels, and we always have the same remarkable, comfortable stay. The locations feel very safe, and the staff is amazing, the best on US one. The rooms are very clean, with a fridge and microwave, working TVs, clean ventilation and clean AC. No disgusting carpets like most motels in Hollywood Florida. They’re the best motels on US one and across Hollywood, Florida and all of South Florida. They even have pools and rooms right beside them. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Don’t waste time going somewhere else and being disappointed. Staying at Richard‘s motels makes a stay amazing and memorable.

This was the stinkiest room I’ve ever stayed in. It wasn’t fit even for animals. They also make you pay a $50 deposit in cash only, then keep you waiting 15 minutes at checkout for the cash register to give it back. We’re in 2026, not 1980.
