Sun Beach Inn

The location makes it easy to get to the beach, restaurants, the airport, and everything else, and it's not too expensive. We come to Hollywood every month and look forward to staying here. The units I've had were clean, nicely updated, and had kitchens. There are several pools, and the service is really hospitable. Breakfast is offered, though it's mostly granola, hard-boiled eggs, and coffee. Ms. Donna is my favorite, so say hi to her, and the front desk staff are very accommodating too. Love this place!

Being just steps from the beach is a great location, and this time the office check-in service was super nice, a real improvement. Jesus’ was kind and helpful when he walked to the office to sort out a bad key card. I love the old Hollywood feel and the old Florida architecture from my childhood. Florida's changing too much of this, and that architecture is part of what makes Florida Florida. It could use a little work, as other reviews have said, but just paint, cabinets, and grounds. Please don't change the architecture. The hotel is clean. One serious issue is breakfast. Upgrade it or get rid of it. It's degrading.

We've been here three times and love it. The place is clean and spacious, and I like having a kitchen in the room. Each visit, check-in went smoothly and we got the exact room we booked. They let you know when booking that the main office is around the corner, one block over, less than a two-minute walk. The beach is even closer. After our last checkout, we realized we'd left our wallets behind. The office had them with all our valuables still inside, waiting for us. We really appreciated that. Can't wait to come back!

Hollywood Beach Hotels, that group of shabby hotels, should be shut down. The customer service is deplorable, and the buildings and rooms are very old. Parking is extremely limited, yet they charge another $20 per night for it. The so-called continental breakfast is an open jar of peanut butter and cold bagels, available for just one hour. You'd honestly have a better stay tent camping under a local bridge.
