The staff were such good hosts, really nice and knowledgeable about the area and things to do. We hadn't planned much when we arrived, and they helped us figure out what to see and try. Our room was super clean, had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfy, with an amazing view of the lake and hillside. The lodge sits right on the lake, close to everything, and within walking distance of a bakery, restaurants, and the brewing company. The spit is close too. We loved watching the hot tub by the lake after a long day of adventures, and the fire pit was thoughtfully stocked with wood, fire starters, and a lighter. We rarely write reviews, but this place really deserves 5 stars. We'll be back on our next Alaska trip. Thanks for an amazing stay!

We had a nice bonfire and got in the hot tub. It's a cool place to spend the night, right in the lake building, with friendly, really cool people. I only had one bed, though, and we needed a rollout cot. Plan on being up early, around 7:00 or 8:00, because the float planes taking off are very, very loud. If you enjoy watching that kind of thing, it's great fun. Overall, a beautiful little place.

Watching float planes land on Beluga Lake from the deck was incredible. Homer Float Plane Lodge has cozy, clean lakeside cabins and a peaceful setting, just minutes from town, the farmers market, and the Homer Spit. We also enjoyed the fire pit by the water, hot tub, and on site grill, which was perfect for making dinner after a day exploring. The cabin had everything we needed. Hayley & Nic at the front office were welcoming, full of local tips, and quick to help. Everyone at the lodge was super nice. It's a great spot for families, couples, or anyone looking for an Alaskan experience. Highly recommend, and can't wait to come back to Alaska!

The lakefront location is excellent, and the beds and rooms are fine. The pillows are meh, though, and the showers are tiny and dark. Float plane lodge is fine.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean. We liked having two showers in our cabin because it made things easier. Sitting in the hot tub and watching float planes come in is a must. We'd stay again.
