The Crosby by Nomada

It's an okay place, but not a great fit for business travel. The internet is unreliable, there's no printer in the coworking space, and the front desk can't answer much. There's also a lot of construction right now, so walking to nearby places means going into the street.

Joel at the front desk made check-in easy with his friendly manner and helpful information, and customer service was a 10/10. We loved the property and stay, especially the amenities: the best hotel gym I've seen, a great pool, a movie theater, private work area, and game room with a billiards table. Our room had a full fridge, cooking range, and dishwasher, which made it a great choice for a few nights in Miami. The location beside the Miami World Center was great too, with the Metromover within walking distance for seeing the city.

My night was rough, but the staff were patient, understanding, and empathetic, and I want to give them credit for that. I was there for the hotel, and the room was very nice, with an incredible view and very nice amenities. Great job, staff.

The rooms were nice and the location was good, though construction outside seemed never-ending. We got just one key for the suite, and having to trade it back and forth was frustrating since they didn't give us the keypad code. The doors don't lock automatically, which we weren't told. Someone walked straight into our room without knocking, and it was scary. When we checked out, the hotel charged $100 for two days of “service fees” that hadn't been disclosed. Staff refused to explain or refund the charge when I challenged it. Be ready to pay $50 more per day than the booking price. In my opinion, that's a sketchy practice. Watch out for hidden fees.
