Extended Stay America Premier Suites Miami Downtown Brickell

The one bright spot was the nice man at the front desk. Everything else left me disappointed, especially for $1,024 for four nights, Monday through Thursday. I've stayed at much cheaper hotels that were far better, despite the good reviews I read beforehand. Breakfast was basically coffee, granola bars, packaged muffins, and dry oatmeal packets with no way to prepare them. I don't drink coffee, so I had warm water from my room with a dry, bland muffin labeled blueberry that didn't have a single blueberry. My room had a twin bed instead of the queen I was supposed to get. It smelled musty when I entered, worst in the bathroom, and the bathroom and main room floors were sticky. I also found dirty socks under the reclining chair after moving it from the wall. The windows were very dirty and didn't work properly. The screened one wouldn't stay open, while the one that stayed open had no screen. A bright spotlight outside made the room feel like daytime even with the blackout shades closed, so sleeping was difficult. Internet was only 20mb/s unless you paid a lot more. The kitchen had no pots, pans, utensils, or cups unless you asked the front desk for them. The outlets were all beside one side of the bed, with none on the other side or elsewhere in the room, and there was no alarm clock. I wouldn't stay here again. For these prices, I expected much better.

The room was extremely clean, and the Extended Stay is a great deal for a short visit to Miami. There was a fridge, strove, microwave, free parking, and a small continental breakfast. I'd happily stay here again and recommend it.

I spent four months here for a work project and was very happy with the stay. The area felt wonderful and safe, with overnight security watching over the cars. I never saw a single incident during those four months. The hotel was spotless, and all the staff were helpful, smiling, and great to deal with. Angelica especially made the front desk feel like a family welcome for every guest. I know where I'll stay next time I'm back in the area.

I've been here for two weeks and it's been a great stay. The location is close to the heart of Brickell, an easy and pleasant walk in. Having laundry onsite makes a longer stay much easier, too. Javier was really accommodating when I checked in, and the staff have all been friendly. Great value.
