The Inn was one of the highlights of our time in Homer. We had a terrific stay, and both the facility and the people surprised us in a good way. From the conveniences to the stocked cupboards and other extras, everything made it feel like a comfortable, friendly, home-like place. Highly recommended.

We walked the beach every day, right where we first strolled together when we met in person in Homer eight years ago. This time, the two of us, now 80, were celebrating our eighth anniversary at a cabin at the Pioneer Inn. Lila was so accommodating and helped us get everything arranged. The house was spotless, quiet, easy to find, and had everything we needed. It was also simple to drive to the Spit or wherever else we wanted to go. It was just right for us, and we hope to celebrate our ninth anniversary there next year.

We found Homer spread out enough that having a car was necessary, but the Pioneer Inn was close to all the amenities. Our apartment was spacious and well equipped, with everything needed to cook, especially handy after a fishing trip. The owner was attentive and easy to reach with any questions. We had a very friendly stay and would definitely recommend the Pioneer Inn.

We stayed in Wildflower, with a king bed, two twins, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The hosts were quick to respond, and the place was very clean. It had the small comforts that made it feel more like home than a hotel. The inn is conveniently located, and I only wish we could have stayed longer.

We slept well in a quiet, cozy room with a comfortable bed, table, side chair, and a roomy bathroom. There was good coffee with ceramic mugs, plus a microwave and fridge. The host had left plenty of ideas for local places to eat and things to do. It's the most charming, thoughtfully equipped room we've had, and we'd happily stay again. Highly recommend!
