There’s new management now, and she’s a friendly, helpful woman who goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. She also won’t put up with loud disturbances or drug use.

The rooms feel like jail cells with cable, but the place was laid back and I didn’t run into trouble. Management is nice, the people there are decent, and it’s the cheapest weekly place I’ve found. If you need somewhere cheap, it’s an option. I’d stay there again if I needed to.

The room was filthy, and I wouldn’t rent there again. The floor looked like it had never been cleaned, there was no soap in the shower, the ice machine was broken, and the blankets were full of holes, like horse blankets. The beds were broken, the A/C leaked all over the floor, and although the manager said the sheets were new, they had blood stains and the pillows had no cases. After I paid for two nights and walked in, I was shocked. The manager was rude, and her boyfriend threatened to call the police when I asked for a refund.

I paid for a week but stayed only one night, then spent two nights at a friend’s place. When I came back, all my belongings were gone and the room was ready for someone else. The owner was rude. I returned his keys, but got no key deposit or any of my stuff back. I’m filing a lawsuit. I also had two sets of keys that still worked, even though they said I had abandoned the room. If you rent a storage unit and don’t show up every day, do they take your stuff? No, because that’s against the law.
