Greenwoods Bed & Breakfast Inn

My husband and I spent a weekend at Greenwoods B&B Inn and wished we had more time. The place is gorgeous inside and out, with attention to detail everywhere. Kevin was a gracious host, and his breakfasts were amazing. We’ll definitely be back.

We toured the whole house because it was a Sunday night and no other guests were there. I’m glad we got to see it all. Each room was named after a region of NY and decorated to match; the beds, wooden furniture, and tasteful details made each one look like it belonged in a magazine. I could picture the place working really well for a big family vacation. We stayed in a larger suite, and the common areas had a relaxing feel too. Breakfast was enjoyable and clearly made with care. The owners were friendly and had good ideas for things to do nearby. My wife and I would gladly return for another quiet getaway.

For our honeymoon, Kevin and Rowan did everything they could to make my husband and me feel at home. The innkeepers greeted us with fresh baked cookies, showed us around the grounds, and encouraged us to explore at our own pace. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful, and breakfast was unbelievable both mornings. The lodgey decor carries through the inn, while each room has its own theme inspired by gems and places around New York State, including chautauqua, Allegheny, and Adirondacks. We had the best time and can’t wait to visit again. We’ll recommend it to everyone we know.

Our suite was roomy, comfortable, and had a really comfortable bed. The inn keepers made us feel welcome during our late autumn weekend. In the evenings, I sat by the fireplace reading and chatting with other guests. Breakfasts were delicious, incredible, and generously portioned. We’re looking forward to coming back.
