We booked this studio from February 19 to March 2 and paid $2,070 for 10 nights. For that price, the poor condition was completely unjustified. Other nearby hotels and rentals offer much better quality and upkeep for the same budget. I highly don't recommend it. Free parking in Waikiki and a convenient location were positives. The studio itself was extremely outdated and badly maintained. There was a cockroach in the room that I had to kill myself. I attached a photo. The refrigerator and other appliances were old and worn, and the space overall felt neglected. The bed linens felt synthetic and plastic-like, didn't breathe, and were unpleasant against the skin, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The hair dryer was old, missing its nozzle, and blew air so hot it could easily burn your scalp. It shouldn't still be in use. The bathroom was tiny and uncomfortable, with old, unpleasant fixtures. The toilet often needed several flushes, and the water would rise without draining properly. Shower water kept shifting from cold to hot, and took a long time to warm up. In heavy rain, water leaked through the ceiling near the bathroom light and dripped onto my things by the sink. The wall showed peeling paint and plaster separating, signs of ongoing moisture problems. The air conditioner made a lot of noise and kept turning on through the night, repeatedly waking us up and making it hard to rest. The building's two elevators were unreliable too. One wasn't working on our first day, leaving everyone to wait for the other. The next day the second one broke and was out for the whole day. Even after repairs, one broke again. We often had a long wait or had to take the stairs.

We chose Marina Tower for an Airbnb vacation and found it a lovely place to visit while enjoying Oahu. The tower is near the marina, with local amenities easily accessible. It worked well as a temporary home base in Honolulu, striking a nice balance between being close to activity and offering a quiet, restorative retreat. I wouldn't personally choose to live in Hawaii long-term, but for a trip, the location is a very nice, convenient choice. The unit was comfortable and well maintained, with a relaxing feel that suited a Hawaiian getaway. It felt welcoming as soon as we arrived and lived up to the description of a "great space to chill." One nice surprise was how quickly the building's elevators moved. In a busy place like Waikiki, that saved us from frustrating waits while coming and going during the day.

I stayed here in an AirBnB. The room was nice, but the owners kept turning off the elevators because of the wind. Guests and residents had to climb anywhere from 6 to 40 floors by stairs.

We stayed in this building through Airbnb from 09/07/2025 to 16/07/2025, on Level 36. We were initially a bit sceptical after reading reviews, but everything was positive and we had no problems. The apartment had a secure parking spot inside the building behind a roller door. Both lifts worked throughout, with no breakdowns or long waits, and all the amenities were in good order. The aircon kept the room cool, and our young children and we slept well every night. The location is ideal, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, beaches, and the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Laundry is on levels 3 and 4, and both washers and dryers worked perfectly. We bought a $10 laundry card from the vending machine on level 4 and prepaid $5. Each wash cost $2.75 and each dryer cycle $2.25, with cycles taking about an hour. We'll definitely book this place again.

Room #2101 was very clean, and we were comfortable. We liked the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and the beds were extremely comfortable too. Where did you get them? Thanks to the landlords. The only things I noticed were a very loud bathroom shower vent that probably needs replacing and a broken closet doorknob. All in all, we'd stay again as long as it's your unit.
