Horsefeathers Hotel

My husband and I came for the Hood River Beer Fest and loved how easy it was to get around from this little hotel. The river is about a half-mile walk, and we wandered through town for coffee and ice cream. Parking was simple, and the place was exceptionally clean. Chris checked in with us a couple of times, and even let us know our room was ready before check-in. We’ll stay again. Such a lovely experience! ❤️

We were in room 301 and really enjoyed having a private entrance and a relaxing dinner with the view from the room. The furnishings are high quality, and the LG TV with Roku let us watch F1. We could also see the trains across the river, which was a neat perspective. It’s an easy walk into town and to the railroad bikes. Parking was convenient, either in the private lot or on the street. The owners were very nice and helped us sort out a travel issue.

For our extended wedding weekend, we booked every unit at Horsefeathers Hotel so our immediate family could stay together while still having their own space. We hosted a small rehearsal dinner for 14 in The Summit with a private chef, then welcomed the larger group in the backyard, with the adjoining city park next door. The rooms were clean, luxurious, and thoughtfully put together. Chris and Laura were responsive and proactive, helped with local recommendations, and accommodated our wedding needs. We had an exceptional experience working with them, and I can’t recommend Horsefeathers enough.

The Horsefeathers was a wonderful place for our family to gather during my wedding weekend, and it helped everything go smoothly. We had room for my family and in-laws, plus a kitchen where we could make our own food. The downtown Hood River location was what first drew us in, and the space worked out perfectly. Chris and his wife made sure we had what we needed, arranged early check-in and late checkout, and were easy to reach with questions. I highly recommend it, especially for a large family or group considering a buyout.
