The main clubhouse, restaurant, and gift shop were nicely updated, and the staff there were great. My room also had an incredible view. But the patio door was so hard to open I could barely enjoy it, and the decking felt unsafe and badly in need of repairs. The unit itself needs major updating: wallpaper was peeling off the upstairs bedroom walls, and the bathrooms were so old they didn't look clean, even if they probably were. I booked my first trip to Breezy Point through a timeshare company managing several units, and the office staff weren't friendly or welcoming. I was really disappointed after hoping for a nice little vacation. I'd suggest booking directly through the main Breezy Point Resort. I imagine their rooms have been kept up, since the clubhouse and restaurant look so updated.

We saved and planned all year for this one big vacation, and it was devastating to be misled and then brushed off. We booked a two-bedroom lake view apartment, drove 24 hours, and only on arrival learned check-in was at an off-site location. Nobody had told us, and by the time we figured it out it was late and we were exhausted. The place didn't match what we'd paid extra for. There was no lake view, just a hot, steamy building beside the noisy indoor pool. The walls were paper thin, the unit was outdated, and the shower was clogged. It felt like a run-down motel, not a relaxing resort. We asked for help and were told to wait for the manager, who was never available. Booking.com tried reaching them too, but nobody called back. They don't seem to care about guests or standing behind what they sell. I want accountability, and I also want others warned: the ads are not what you get. Don't trust the posts and booking ads for this place. Don't make the same mistake we did.
