The food was truly delicious, and the inn is close to town, the mountain, and lots of hiking trails. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a charming rustic feel. The staff were polite and cheerful throughout. We had a great stay.

We just wrapped up a two-night ski trip and had excellent dinners both evenings. The place has a classic feel, with a warm wood fireplace. The burgers were cooked just right, and the fries were so good I didn’t leave a single one. The next night, the chicken and meatloaf dinners hit the spot after a long day skiing. Shout out to Mike the bartender, who was professional and super friendly!

We liked dinner so much that we came back a second time. Jem at the front concierge was friendly and helpful, and Victoria was a great server. The food was amazing: best chicken vegetable stir fry, grilled ribeye, and fries with garlic Aioli. Just an outstanding place to eat, and a fantastic spot when you’re visiting sugarbush mountain.

The hearty breakfasts were great before skiing, and after a day out we enjoyed the dinner menu and cozy bar. Hyde Away Inn was just right for a weekend skiing with friends, with unbeatable proximity to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen. Staff were friendly and helpful. It works well for large groups who want to stay together, but book well ahead.

We love this fun little eatery near the hill. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. I was surprised to learn the salmon comes from Fareo Island Denmark, and I also liked the pumpkin soup. Everyone on staff was warm and friendly. Highly recommend.
