The attached restaurant was very good and fairly priced, and the host was friendly and accommodating. He left muffins for breakfast in the morning. We stayed to ski Sugarbush, right at the bottom of the mountain, and would happily come back. The rooms were nice, with a good mix of bunks and regular beds. Bathrooms were well cared for, and towels were provided.

I’m an adult with grown-up kids, and I’d thought my hostel days were behind me. Turns out I was wrong. Hostel Tevere made it possible for me to snowboard more days this season than I’d ever expected to afford. As a recent immigrant, I’d found it hard to meet as many skiing and riding friends here as I had back home. At Hostel Tevere, you can hang out by the coziest fireplace in the world and talk with strangers who share your interests while your boots dry by the fire. The location, people, restaurant, bar, beds, and morning coffee all feel just right. Thank you, Ryan! I loved seeing how you run the place. For anyone who doesn’t know, Ryan is the owner and a skier.

Ryan made us feel well looked after, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable, with good beds and WiFi. Hostel Tevere is ideally placed for skiing Sugarbush and Mad River Glen, and the rates are great. Free morning coffee and muffins were a nice extra. My one suggestion would be to add lockers. Thanks, Ryan, for a great stay!

Five minutes from Lincoln Peak, right at the bottom of the access road. Comfy, clean beds and cool people. Ryan, the owner, is great, and there’s coffee and muffins in the morning. Hard to go wrong. We’ll definitely be back!

Our group of four stayed in the Quebec Room, which was roomy and private. The beds were very comfortable, and towels were supplied. Ryan was a friendly, accommodating host. There was coffee and blueberry muffins in the morning, plus a fridge everyone could use for storing things. We found Hostel Tevere cozy and affordable, and would definitely recommend it. Hope to return!
