Housekeeping came by every morning and worked with a smile, and the staff were warm, kind, and friendly. This was honestly the best service I’ve had at a motel. The room was clean, the tub was nice and big, and the included body wash smelled fresh, like white tea. You could sometimes hear people in other rooms, but it wasn’t loud or distracting. It’s across from the Galleria and close to other places. Breakfast was really enjoyable, with waffles and toast you could make yourself and fresh fruit stocked. The price was great, and the parking lot was well lit.

At first glance the room seemed decent, but it had a lot of problems. The TV remote only powered the TV on, changed channels, and adjusted volume. Most channels were in Spanish, and I couldn’t turn off closed captions. The AC looked filthy and badly needed cleaning. The bed sank when I got in, and its hard edge was uncomfortable to sit on. There was only one accessible outlet, with the rest behind or under furniture. The tub still showed signs of old safety strips, but none were there anymore. The shower pressure was barely there and there was mold on the ceiling. The old desk chair had no padding and sat so low it was useless. I wouldn’t recommend it or return.

The locals seem to love this place 😀, but if you’re visiting from out of town, it’s absolutely trash. Our first room stank, then they moved us to one where the AC blew air that smelled strongly of pee. And the amenities and breakfast? They don’t exist!!!

It’s well lit and felt safe enough, and the location is great, close to a nice shopping area and the town center. But this is a motel, not a hotel, and not a nice one. It’s an old building with cheap rooms, and the clientele reflects that. I wouldn’t pick it again.

The bed was really comfortable and the room was clean. The hotel staff were kind, and I felt very welcome. I’d recommend it to anyone traveling through the area.
