The place has a nice feel inside, and our waitress was really helpful. I didn't catch her name, but she had a big cowboy belt buckle. The burger was very good, and the takeout Cobb Salad was excellent. My chicken strips came out a little cold, though she apologized and was extremely cordial about it. Hoovers was open on a slower weekday when some nearby places weren't.

We brought a big group of boys for river tubing and ice cream. The Hoovers staff were friendly and really tried to make sure we could get kosher ice cream. Shoutout to scott.

The last day got windy enough that the power company shut off electricity to the valley because of the fire danger. It was off from 8am to 4pm, and we completely agreed with that call. Dan quickly brought large cases of bottled water to the cabins and RV guests, and kept everyone updated. We still had a blast. We rented five of the seven cabins for this family trip, since some of our relatives from out of state and out of country couldn't come this time. Dan and the whole staff are so friendly and helpful. Our family has had memorable, fun stays here every time, and we love the place. The Hoovers Grill and the Mercantile are both excellent. You can go tubing, take an exhilarating river run, or ride ATVs. Don't miss the Dole Whip.

Had a great time floating the river, and the dock made it easy to put in and get out. There are hiking and ATV trails, plus good fishing. The cabins are comfortable and nice. I'd stay here again.

We brought our fifth wheel and had a very nice stay. There are seven spots, all backed up to the River. The cabins looked nice, though we didn't stay in one. The restaurant served great food, and the service was great too. Dan, the owner, was very nice and accommodating.
