I stayed for a week while working nearby and had no problems. The hotel and my room were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was well stocked and ready early. It seems to have been another hotel chain before, but it's been renovated and any differences from other HIE locations are negligible. I'd stay again.

The mold problem seemed to be throughout the whole place. We switched rooms, but that didn't help, so don't stay here if mold is an issue for you. We were also told breakfast started at 6am, but the attendant wasn't on time and we had to leave and find food down the road.

I arrived to find my room smelled strongly of mold, so I propped the door open and went to get supper. When I came back it seemed better, but after I closed the door and turned on the AC to do paperwork, the smell got really bad again. I started getting a headache and feeling sick while I was showering, so I cut my losses and moved to another hotel. I paid double, but at least I wasn't sick anymore. The mold smell was strong throughout the hotel. Don't stay here, especially if you or someone in your family has upper respiratory problems or asthma. Usually Holiday Inns aren't like this, but this is the only one I'd tell people to avoid.

On our way from Indiana to Texas, we stayed one night and had a delicious breakfast. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the rooms were very clean and cozy. We'll stay again on the way home.

This was our second stay at this Holiday Inn Express, a convenient stop for our trips to TX. It's consistently clean, with good service and staff. Our family also likes the wide range of tasty, filling breakfast choices.
