We paid exactly $30 in cash to park for Benson Boone. Good place to park for concerts. We didn’t stay there.

After living there for three years while earning my two degrees at FLCC, I have plenty of stories about the awful management. The owner, MARK, doesn’t care about tenants at all, and that’s just wrong. Maintenance is a perverse joke: they hardly fix anything, and the workers drink on the job constantly. They don’t shovel snow, and they’ve wrongly charged me for things I didn’t do, including a football-sized stain their maintenance man left on my apartment floor. The Wi-Fi is down two-thirds of the day, and you have to pay for it no matter what. Go somewhere else. This place is an absolute 1/10, and I can’t wait to graduate.

The service was bare minimum. There’s no vending machine or ice machine, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. The room had a bed, lamp, nightstand, card table, computer stand, armoire with two drawers, refrigerator, stove, and microwave. Walmart is close enough to walk to, if you’re willing to cross a four-lane highway. I called to ask about shampoo and conditioner and was told they provided them, but what I got was “conditioning shampoo” and lotion with a strange smell. I expected a room phone, tissues, and coffee in a motel-style place. There weren’t any. While I was lying down waiting for the others in our party to get ready, someone knocked and put a key in the door before I had a chance to answer. They didn’t do any housekeeping or even replace the towels. This wasn’t what I expected, and I wouldn’t suggest it to anyone except people in the area for school, since at least they’ll bring their own supplies.

It wasn’t what we’d hoped for. Even though the room was designated non-smoking, it smelled of smoke. The TV remote was missing, and we couldn’t get online with any of the three Wi-Fi codes we were given. They moved us to another room that also smelled like smoke, but couldn’t find its key, so we had to contact someone to let us in.
