The people at Horseshoe Bay Resort made the work trip feel special. Billy, Cole, Chase, and Martin were welcoming from the start, remembered us, and kept us laughing. The place itself is gorgeous, with lovely landscaping and a really calming feel. We slept great in a very comfortable bed, and both restaurants we tried were excellent. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we’re looking forward to coming back.

We were excited to try the resort’s golf courses, but the booking process was a mess. After several follow-ups, we finally got a weekend arranged. When I called 90 days before arrival to book tee times, I learned a tournament would take up two of the three days we’d be there. The rep had recommended the “unlimited golf package” after I said we planned to play 36 holes most days, but never mentioned the tournament, even after I paid the deposit. Then that same rep didn’t submit my cancellation. I called back a few days later because I hadn’t received confirmation, and found out it was never filed. Really disappointing. Barton Creek got us rooms, tee times, and dinner for the same weekend that day, with no deposit.

I spent my 59th birthday at Horseshoe Bay Resort and had such a great stay. Terra greeted me at the front desk with a lovely smile, and Cole and Jeffrey in valet took extra care of my car. Jennifer at the spa was so polite, and Brandon gave me a real 5-star massage. I also loved the eucalyptus steam room. My lakefront one-bedroom condo, West Bank #17, was just right for watching both sunrise and sunset. The manager refunded my last night because of the winter storm, which I appreciated. I hope I can come back for the Balloon Festival in April. 🤠❤️🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Marlon Arana and his team made our May 9-11, 2025 tennis retreat at the Mouratoglou Tennis Center feel easy from start to finish. They handled rides to and from Horseshoe Bay Resort, plus trips to restaurants and activities, with care and reliability. Marlon was organized, attentive, and clearly invested in everyone having a good time. The whole retreat felt stress-free thanks to him and the team. This review is late, but the experience deserves the praise. We had a fantastic, unforgettable visit and can’t wait to return. I’d recommend the resort or a tennis retreat at the Mouratoglou Tennis Center.

Stephanie, Tara, and Miguel were wonderful people and clearly doing their best. The staff were also patient despite delays at check-in from the hotel’s new computer system. My stay was let down by the water, though. The shower pressure had been uneven the night before, and then the water wouldn’t get hot. I mentioned it and was told engineering would look into it, but I was checking out, so that didn’t help me. I don’t know if it was just my room or the whole hotel. I didn’t get a chance to use any resort services. The location is great if you want to be in Horseshoe Bay Texas.
