I wouldn’t rent from George again. He called me yelling, swearing, and insulting me, even though I spoke respectfully and never raised my voice. He said we’d damaged his boat, but when I went back to see it in person, there was no damage. He then accused us of returning it dirty, which I offered to clean even though it wasn’t dirty. It felt like he quickly switched to that complaint after realizing the boat wasn’t damaged. He was rude and didn’t know how to speak to people. You’d think he’d appreciate us as his only customers that day.

When we had a group over and one of our boats started having trouble, renting a tri-toon for the day was easy and a great value. Georg was kind, helpful, prompt, and thorough, as always. The boat and equipment were in excellent shape, and everything worked perfectly. Thanks, Georg, the whole experience was great.

With the Hill Country hit by unprecedented flooding, Lake LBJ is full of dangerous debris, loose boats and jet skis, and logs, with likely high bacteria levels too. We booked a boat for the coming weekend a few days ago, then called to cancel, but the owner refused because the lake was open and he said it would be clear by the weekend. I don’t believe the debris will settle and clear, or the water will be safe to swim in, for weeks. Anyone concerned about their boats and customers’ safety wouldn’t have said that. The company also has no captain option, leaving renters at unnecessary risk of damaging boats in all that debris. I’m very disappointed they seem so desperate for a sale that they put it ahead of customer safety.

We rented a pontoon and tube for four hours over Labor Weekend, hoping to spend some time on the water as a family. The service was friendly and helpful both when we arrived and when we left. Strong winds picked up before a storm and cut our outing short, tearing up the pontoon’s canopy. We felt awful about it, but when we docked, someone hurried over to reassure us it wasn’t our fault and we didn’t need to worry. He cared more about whether we’d enjoyed ourselves before the storm than complaining about the damage. That kind of genuine care is rare, and my husband and I will support this business whenever we’re back at Lake LBJ.

We paid $600 for four hours with a boat that wouldn’t accelerate properly and seemed to be falling apart. The place smelled strongly of smoke, the bathrooms were disgusting, and there was dog fur everywhere. The workers were rude and no help. It was cheap, and we regret renting through them. I wouldn’t recommend getting a boat here.
