Extended Stay America Philadelphia Horsham Welsh Rd.

I only stayed here because I really needed somewhere to go, and it felt like a total waste of money. There's nothing nice or fancy about the place, and while most of the staff are nice, the cleaning wasn't up to standard on my visits. Tubs and sinks were left dirty, I saw insects, and the bathroom sink in my last room wouldn't drain, so I had to use the kitchen sink to wash my hands and brush my teeth. The last time, I arranged with the front desk to extend my stay by one day and paid everything. Later, a staff member came to clean and tried to open my door, apparently because no one had told him I was still there. I said I needed a minute and was just getting out of the shower, but he opened it anyway. Thankfully the latch was on, or he would have walked in while I was coming out of the shower. I didn't feel safe after that and won't return. Go somewhere else.

I love staying here long term. The kitchen is great for cooking, and they provide pots, pans, plates, and other things. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.

It feels like its own little community, since several guests stay long term and you quickly get to know people. My family member spent several weeks here, and I visited almost daily. The staff took the time to get to know them, checked that they were okay, and asked if they needed anything. Everyone was extremely kind and polite. This is the nicest, cleanest Extended Stay I've ever visited. I'd highly recommend this location.

Everyone here was patient with the people they helped, and even the maintenance staff were friendly. There are so many great employees that these are just a few who stood out. Ms. Chan was efficient and always on top of things, and any issue was handled promptly. Ms. Pamela always seemed to be working to keep the hotel clean and make sure we had what we needed, while staying friendly. Maurice was a godsend to this technosaur, always cheerful and ready to help with whatever problem I had, even showing me how to use the laundry room. Joe was always willing to listen and answer questions or handle requests. This chain can be proud of the people working here.
