Comfort Inn & Suites Hot Springs Midtown

For our Oaklawn weekend, the convenient location, clean room, and comfortable beds were all positives. Breakfast was decent, though ending at 9:30 a.m. felt early for people sleeping in after a late night. The hotel is dated, and the hallways smelled of smoke. It was just OK overall. It’s an older place, so don’t expect it to have that new-hotel smell.

There’s a comforting vibe here, and everyone was really nice, helpful, and understanding. The location is well placed, with lots to do within walking distance and plenty of good restaurants nearby. Texas Roadhouse is practically in your front yard, lol. Amazing all around, 10 out of 10, definitely recommend. The owner is pretty chill too.😁⬆️

Some parts of our stay didn’t go as planned, but Ms. Jessica went out of her way to help with the problems, which she hadn’t caused. I noticed the effort, and she’s an asset to the hotel. Thank you, Ms. Jessica.

The people were friendly, the rooms clean, and the pool decent. Breakfast was pretty gross, but for the price, the stay seemed adequate and I was ready to give it five stars. Then we got home and found a $250 room damage charge. My six-year-old son had been sick and thrown up just before he reached the bathroom. Cleaning it up would have been very easy and superficial, so I don’t think the charge was warranted, especially since it was more than the room itself cost. My mother-in-law had kindly paid for the room, and now I feel horrible about the extra charge. Even with decent amenities, treating guests this way is very disappointing.
