We called late when we were in a last-minute bind looking for somewhere to stay, and they answered right away. When we arrived, they were ready to help us get settled in our spot. The people at this park were the friendliest and most helpful I’ve ever encountered. They even noticed my trash bag hanging outside and carried it to the dumpster without me asking. So kind. It’s also near the casino and some good restaurants. We’ll definitely be back.

The campground itself was beautiful and very well cared for, with amazing concrete sites, great hosts, a nice dog area, and a top-notch bathhouse and laundry building. I’d rate the park 10/10 and wouldn’t want to put anyone off staying. It’s gated and close to a paved walking trail, hot springs creek, and OakLawn casino & racetrack. Still, my review is bittersweet because of noise from outside the campground. Cars and people from the nearby 'sketch' area passed at all hours, construction next door went on all day, and small planes flew around early in the morning. There must be a small airport nearby? Those things were out of the park’s control.

Josh and his wife Stacey showed us around, shared local recommendations, and greeted us warmly. They’re a lovely couple with very cute pugs! The campground was super clean and close to everything. The bathhouse was spotless, and the showers felt like a spa. We walked to the casino for slots and horse races, then took our bikes down the trail to bathhouse row the next day. There was so much to see and do. Such a fun weekend, and I wish we’d stayed longer. We’ll be back!

We spent three nights at the park and found it quiet, easy to get in and out of, and safe-feeling. It’s just a few miles from town, which worked well for visiting the national park and bath house row. The park sits on a hill, so some sites are more level than others; site 47 was good for us. They sent our site number and gate code ahead of time, so we could go straight there when we arrived.

The hosts were very helpful, checked on us a few times, and even held a cookout the day we arrived, Memorial Day. We appreciated the gated entrance, too. The sites were spacious, clean, and easy to park in. This is the best RV Resort we’ve stayed at, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the Hot Springs area.
