For $67.50 a night, I'd look for somewhere nicer or at least newer. A chain built after 2000 might cost less and spare you the noise. The room was clean and about what you'd expect from a place built in the '50s, but the hallways and stairwells looked dirty and rough. The elevator seemed neglected, with no required service notice posted, and I doubt it had been checked in years. The pool looked nice, though it's only about 30 feet from one of the town's busiest intersections. It was packed all day, which is understandable in summer vacation season. That intersection made for a lot of noise. I've never heard so many motorcycles, and booming bass kept me up late. At check-in, the guy barely spoke to us because he was yelling into his iPhone the whole time.

The price is hard to beat for a vacation, the staff were friendly, and we had a blast in the pool. We really enjoyed staying here and will be back soon.
