We stayed here in Nov. 2024, and I wouldn't recommend it. The rooms weren't very clean and all had a smell. The first one smelled so bad we asked to switch; the second smelled too, though not nearly as bad. We booked with my partner's card, but at check-in they said it wasn't paid, so we gave them another card. At dinner we found they'd charged both cards different amounts. I tried for months to get one card refunded and never did, and they also never returned our deposit after saying they would.

The whole stay was terrible. The ceiling and walls had wires and nails sticking out, the floors were stained, and we wore shoes in the room the entire time. The sheets had what looked like wax dropped all over them, and I noticed mold near the air vents. The towels had yellow and black stains. When I asked for fresh ones, I had to hand over the used towels because they didn't have enough. The replacements were stained too, so we ended up sharing one towel. It seemed hardly anyone was staying there, and I've learned there may be a reason. The key system wasn't working at check-in, so we had to leave the room open and unlocked whenever we went out. The toilet stayed clogged the first night and half the next day. The owner, who seemed to be staying there too, had her window repair guy come unclog it. He didn't seem pleased, and it looked like she had him doing maintenance he wasn't being paid for. I'd rather have paid $50 at the Red Carpet Inn for the same experience and at least been able to shut my door.

It was, without doubt, the worst hotel check-in I've experienced. We booked through a third-party site, then waited 20 minutes with no one at the desk. When a woman arrived, she said she was from housekeeping and didn't know enough to check us in. She told us the room couldn't be locked because of a system fault, so it would be left open if we went out. She said the workers who frequented the hotel were fine with that because, according to her, they had nothing to steal. When we said that wasn't acceptable, she suggested we go elsewhere. She also said my service dog would cost $250 as a non-refundable fee. I told her that violated the law, and she again told us to check in somewhere else. Later, a colleague arrived and said there was no room for us, even though we could still reserve one directly on the hotel's website. Other guests I met mentioned blocked toilets and black mold as more reasons to avoid the place. *Edit* The hotel's response is entirely untruthful. There was no power outage at the time. I have an audio recording confirming the room-card machine was broken, and during our time there we spoke with three different guests about their experiences. Also, I'm a middle-aged school Principal and have never been a danger to anyone.

I stayed overnight, and after looking around the room I found several issues. I told the front desk, and she wanted to help, but I was already worn out from the drive and didn't want to deal with it. The shower handle came off, and the water pressure was unreliable. I was just there to crash and leave. Edit: The food and bingo picture was from another location, as the photo label shows. I didn't say you provided those things; they were added by accident. Thanks for responding. As I recall, you had 41 rooms emptied that morning, so anything can accidentally get overlooked.

The outside of the building was disgusting, and the place didn't feel comfortable at all. I had brought my son on the first night, and I feel horrible about taking him to that awful hotel. I didn't trust anyone there. We were supposed to have two nights, but the staff put one, so we left after the first night and went home. The toilet didn't work, the card thing wouldn't work, and the breakfast was crappy. When we needed help, towels, or a new card, staff weren't at the building. On the second night, one of the staff members looked like she was on drugs. I'm a mother and felt terrible bringing my son there. I'm going somewhere else next time with my fiancé. I highly don't recommend this hotel, 0/100, and I'm never going back.
