It's a clean hotel with well-kept rooms and helpful staff, and I thought it was good value for the money. It's a bit removed from restaurants and other conveniences. Breakfast is included, though it's continental rather than hot. That wasn't a big issue for me since the rooms have kitchenettes. A good, reasonably priced option if you're staying for a while.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and they don't have that motel-room feel. It’s more like a nice room in someone’s house, with a bedroom, office, and kitchen all together. Tammy on the graveyard shift was terrific, friendly and professional, and went out of her way to help. Since I work swingshift/graveyard too and had driven straight from Dallas, she let me check out as late as 1 PM and helped with a few extras. I'm sure management knows what an asset she is. If we come down here again, this is where we'll stay. …

The smell in the rooms and corridor was so bad that I felt like throwing up in my first five minutes there. The staff were good, though.

Mainstay is our go-to when we visit family in Houma. The location works well for getting down the bayou, with lots of fast food nearby if you need it. Prices and room amenities are great, and our room was clean and well kept. The best part was the hospitable, accommodating staff. Thanks, Mainstay!

Our first room had bugs in the bathroom, bed, and closet, but the front desk moved us to another one. The second room was comfortable and bug-free. The staff also took care of the first room. Aside from that first room, we had a great stay: it wasn't very noisy, and my grandbaby enjoyed breakfast. My husband and I plan to come back for a little getaway. Thanks, Mainstay, for your hospitality 🤗
