Comfort Suites Willowbrook/Technology Corridor

I stayed for a week about a month ago. Breakfast was advertised, but all there ever was amounted to a few slices of old, stale bread. Check-in also took quite a while because nobody was at the front desk. I’m pretty sure the receptionist lives at the desk, since she was either smoking outside or sleeping in the back room around the clock. Don’t expect to talk to anyone if you don’t know Spanish. Housekeeping didn’t know a word of English.

The staff were so nice, the room was clean, and breakfast was good. The bed and pillows were comfortable too. The hallway smelled really weird, maybe someone was cooking or maybe it was weed, but that smell didn’t follow me into the room. The shower fixtures are older and the tub could use repainting, though everything worked fine. For the location and price, it’s a great place to stay. I’ll come back next time I’m in town.

We had a very spacious room with a pull-out couch, and I was impressed by how clean it was. The staff were really friendly, and we enjoyed the free breakfast. The price is very good for what you get, so I recommend staying here. It’s in a great spot in the center of Vintage park, close by if you need to go to Tomball or Cypress.

I called Saturday morning to reserve a room and asked the gentleman on the phone about checking in at 1 p.m. He agreed and said he’d make a note. I didn’t arrive until 3 p.m., but as soon as I walked in, a woman outside the lobby yelled that there were no rooms ready. No greeting, just a nasty attitude. I politely asked about my reservation. She repeated that there were no clean rooms, then said she didn’t know why they hadn’t notified her. I showed her my email, but she still said there was nothing she could do, with no empathy or professionalism. A guest standing nearby was appalled by her behavior too. I decided to leave without checking in, but I’m still being charged. This was poor service, and I hope they review the cameras to see how unprofessional the employee was. It happened last Saturday, October 25th, at 3 p.m.
