Intown Suites Extended Stay Houston - Westchase

Star welcomed us warmly when my husband and I arrived in Houston from San Antoino after driving all day and struggling to find anything in our price range for two weeks. She got us checked in quickly and was a blessing when we needed one. She said she was the new General Manager, though you wouldn’t have known it from how naturally she treated me and my family like her own. Her staff follow her example. She even checked the next day to see how we were enjoying our stay. I was a little sad to leave once my apartment was ready. We were comfortable during a stressful time, and I’ll send people I know back there. Thank you.

The grounds are maintained, and there’s good lighting at night. Management and staff are friendly and helpful, and they take care of problems promptly, which I appreciate. I’d recommend Westchase InTown Suites to anyone needing a short or long-term place to stay.

The staff were cordial, and the small kitchen is handy if you need to cook during a stay of several days. But our room smelled like urine, the toilet rocked because it wasn’t secured to the bathroom floor, and the shower head had a major leak. The TV screen was so dark we could barely see it and couldn’t adjust it, making it more like a radio. The complimentary breakfast was advertised as including muffins and snack bars, but only had coffee, tea, cocoa, and packaged oatmeal. I paid $339 for three days, which didn’t feel like a fair deal. I won’t be back.

Hours after I checked in and paid, someone tried to charge my card $3,996.00. Luckily, my bank flagged it. The company said it was a corporate issue, but there’s no corporate number to call and nobody replied to my online contact form. They told me to contact the property manager, but how do I know that isn’t the person who tried to make the fraudulent charge?
