InTown Suites Extended Stay Select Houston TX - Brookhollow

The place was much better when I stayed a year ago, but it’s been sliding since. There’s no gym despite it being advertised; on my first day I tracked it down and found a storage closet. Broken windows are everywhere, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were locked out too. The key doesn’t work reliably, and there’s no night assistant to help. I reported the lock problem and was told it was just the batteries, then brushed off. They say they have no record of my calls, but I do. The rooms have stains on the floor, warped cabinet wood, a smell, and a filthy air conditioner. Some employees are nice, while others act put out if you ask for anything. Apparently Kelly knows about every piece of mail in the office. You can’t opt out of the Wi-Fi, and on top of that they charge extra to wash towels and make you buy toilet paper. With customer service going downhill, I’m thinking about getting a camper to move around for work. You’d be better off staying somewhere else.

The office staff seemed shady about my deposit. They kept half of it because I’d left food in the fridge, then tried to hold onto the whole deposit by claiming it was more than a week after checkout and too late to return it. It had only been five days. I stayed a week or two, and the room was filthy, with wall stains and floors that looked unmopped. There was also mold or mildew on the ceiling. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I checked the room before renting it and got out of there fast, then booked somewhere else. It was supposed to be a clean, sanitized upgrade from the room I reserved, but the floor hadn’t even been swept. There was bug poop and a weed bud on it, and nowhere to hang clothes. The rooms are trash. I don’t know where the positive reviews come from, but they can’t be from real customers. This place is a dump, less than one star if I could rate it that way. 😂😂😂😂

From management down, I’ve only had good interactions here, and the place feels like home. The rooms are spacious, nice, and updated, and the beds are really comfortable. Ms. Kelly has kept customer service consistently high during our long stay. Edit: I’m glad I noticed my rating didn’t post the way I meant it to. I intended to give 5 stars, but somehow it initially showed 3.
