Palace Inn City Center

The rooms were simple, basic, quiet, and modern, and they were so clean. I arrived after a flight and, no exaggeration, they were still cleaning rooms at midnight. It cost less than a name-brand hotel and was a great experience.

The rooms are spacious and clean, but mice in the walls and roof kept squeaking all night. I didn’t hear them in the morning, though I wasn’t in the room much then. I haven’t seen them get into the room, but the noise kept me awake. There was no iron, and there weren’t enough trash cans. The soap and shampoo were very low quality. The sink was clogged, but they cleared it quickly once I told the front desk. Management is a little stingy.

Be careful. After I paid for a room, I believe they kept my card details and sold them the next day. My last transaction had been the hotel room, and while I was asleep at almost 3 am, someone tried to charge nearly $4,000 from another place or something like that. They’re robbers, they’re thieves.

The room was clean, refurbished, and smelled good, and the staff were friendly. They even let me check in early and left a toothbrush and floss for me. I thought they had drip coffee in the morning, but there wasn’t any. Still, it was a great, pretty economical place, and I’ll definitely stay again.
